Bio: David Harris is an Associate Professor of Physiology and directs the Structure and Function module at UCF. His main areas of teaching are cardiovascular and respiratory physiology. He has been active in educational research with his main interests in active learning pedagogies and the use of high fidelity patient simulation with first-year medical students. He has won the national teaching awards with IAMSE and the American Physiological Society.
