New Virtual Patient Cases and Assessments Now Available for Psychiatry, OBGYN, and Neurology

Every clerkship comes with the same challenge: making sure every student gets consistent exposure to the conditions they need, no matter where they train. As of July 1, Aquifer has released eight new virtual patient cases across three disciplines to help continue closing that gap.

Aquifer Psychiatry Course

The new Aquifer Psychiatry Course offers coverage of the conditions and presentations your students need to recognize before they enter clinical practice. New cases include:

  • 44-year-old experiencing chest pain
  • 25-year-old with depression seeking medication management
  • 32-year-old with symptoms of depression and increased alcohol use
  • 42-year-old with a history of fibromyalgia and anxiety
  • 9-year-old with a history of anxiety along with social and emotional concerns

With this release, and the matching Calibrate formative assessment, educators can build a complete Psychiatry clerkship experience, giving students consistent exposure to conditions they may not see, or may see inconsistently, at their clinical sites.

New Case in OBGYN

A new case has been added to Aquifer’s Gynecology offerings:

  • 66-year-old with abdominal bloating

New Cases in Neurology

Two new cases have been added to Aquifer Neurology:

  • 57-year-old with intermittent numbness in the right hand
  • 67-year-old with head trauma and an altered level of consciousness

New Cases in Neurology

These new cases give students standardized exposure to more essential conditions across three disciplines, backed by the same clinical accuracy and national standards alignment in every Aquifer case. Whether you're building a Psychiatry clerkship curriculum or rounding out OBGYN and Neurology coverage, this release adds depth exactly where programs have asked for it.
