Joseph Miller, PhD

Joe Miller joined Aquifer in November 2020. Joe brings his expertise in pedagogy and learning, curriculum design, and data-focused product insights to health professions education while driving the execution and growth of Aquifer’s AI-powered learning strategy. He will partner closely with leadership to ensure that our initiatives continue to uphold Aquifer’s highly trusted brand standards. Joe has spent most of the last two decades working in K-12 education supporting schools and teachers to improve outcomes and incubate innovative ideas. Joe earned a Ph.D. in anthropology from Southern Methodist University (2002) and taught graduate and undergraduate courses in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Colorado-Denver. Joe lives in New Hampshire with his wife, two children, and far too many pets. In his free time, Joe is a volunteer fireman, avid runner, and obsessive about making the perfect pizza.
