Associate Product Manager

Aimee Landwehr joined Aquifer in November 2022. Aimee works closely with various stakeholders to communicate the product vision, requirements, present business impacts, and prioritize and manage bugs.

Prior to joining Aquifer, Aimee was a high school social studies teacher. In that role, she worked to ensure curriculum alignment, designed and implemented standards-based assessments, and created instructional interventions to meet a wide array of student needs. Aimee earned a Bachelor’s degree in history and a Master’s degree in security studies from Kansas State University, as well as teaching credentials from Emporia State University.

Aimee lives in Kansas where she enjoys spending time with her husband and young adult children, doing yoga, reading, writing, and working in the garden.

Jenne Patterson

Strategic Assistant to CCO

Jenne (pronounced as Jenny) joined Aquifer in September 2022. Currently, she is the Strategic Assistant to the Chief Curriculum Officer and is responsible for supporting Aquifer’s Educator Consortium. Her primary role is to assist the CCO in optimizing the time spent on strategic, high-impact initiatives and relationships.

She has a background in Project Management – with a strong focus on biological sciences, performing arts, and educational initiatives. She also has taught various fine arts skills and science courses (Dance, Musical Theater, Production, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) at the secondary education level.

Jenne received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Florida. She has begun a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership at the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education & School of Criminal Justice at Nova Southeastern University. She has a community service background rooted in the bridge between arts and healthcare, extending into clinical research and childhood development.

Shelby Bull

Strategic Assistant

Shelby Bull joined Aquifer in August of 2022. She is responsible for working directly with Leslie Fall in business strategy and initiatives. For the majority of Shelby’s work career, she has worked in fundraising within the higher education field. Her focus has been on managing varying boards and councils, overseeing department fund transfers, and client and donor relations. She currently lives in Durango, CO, with her partner Luke. She spends the majority of her free time in the mountains training for ultramarathon trail running, in the ceramics studio, or woodworking. Shelby offers her services as a volunteer for emotional support to individuals impacted by violent crimes, trail rebuilding, and overall environmental protection.

Ken Foo M.S.

Data Engineer

Ken joined Aquifer in May 2022. He will be supporting all data-essential responsibilities including designing database schemes, data cleansing, deploying machine learning models, and productionizing code. Ken’s background spans data science and management consulting within the government sector. Currently, Ken lives in the Maryland area and received his BS in Chemical Engineering from University of Maryland Baltimore County and his MS from the University of Notre Dame. Ken is a devoted jiujitsu practitioner and is passionate about the education sector. In his free time, Ken volunteers as a teacher at his Church.

Daniel Sardella

Assessment Production Associate

Dan joined Aquifer in August 2021. He assists with the development, maintenance, scheduling, testing, delivery, and tracking of exams and assessments.

Dan’s background includes positions as a Product Management Coordinator for an IT solutions provider, an Implementation Specialist for a cloud-based staffing platform, and a Technical Support Coordinator for a flooring coop. Excellent customer service has always been at the forefront of his career. He attended Keene State College, Fitchburg State College, and holds an Associate Degree in Audio Production from Massachusetts Communications College.

Dan lives in New Hampshire, is passionate about film and music, and regularly hikes and mountain bikes. He also loves playing and recording music, traveling, performs freelance work for a home video label, co-hosted a podcast for many years, and has acted in a play or two.

Stephanie DeWitt, M.Ed, PMP

Director of Product

Stephanie began her winding career in educational technology on the software development side of things, then moved into client services, quality assurance, and assessments. Finding a love for telling the right story at the right time, she champions trust, change, solid business requirements, and customer experience analysis to enhance the experiences of lifelong learning. 

Stephanie earned her B.S. in Psychology and M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Iowa, focusing on technology, identity, and learning. She also volunteers with at-risk high school students through Iowa Jobs for America’s Graduates. 

Stephanie lives in Iowa with her charming husband, two amazing daughters, two indifferent cats and two feisty/messy/adorable new puppies. When she’s not chasing this crew around, Stephanie enjoys live music, true crime, and bonfires.

Tracy Cosker

Tracy Cosker
Director of Customer Success

Tracy is a creative,future-focused professional with 20 years of experience in the online higher education and technology space.  Tracy recently served as a Senior Strategy and Optimization Consultant with CampusWorks, Inc. working with Higher Education institutions across the Nation to tackle complex strategic, operational and technological challenges standing in the way of institutional and student success.  Previously, she was the Associate Director of UNH Online, where she was responsible for strategic planning, operations, and program development to ensure the growth and management of the University of New Hampshire’s online degree programs and student services. During her tenure with UNH, she introduced several new online programs and student support services – increasing enrollment by 592%, exponentially growing program offerings, and improving revenue generation from $2M in 2015 to $18M in 2019. Tracy has worked in online education since 2002 and spent 13 years with American Public University System (APUS) – a leading global online university with more than 100,000 students and alumni.  As Associate Vice President for Business Development with APUS, she initiated several pilot programs, new lines of business, and research initiatives for the University.

Tracy holds an MBA from George Mason University, a BFA from Fredonia State University, and is a graduate of the Institute for Emerging Leaders in Online Learning, a leadership and innovation program with Penn State and the Online Learning Consortium.  When she is not working her “day job,” she can be found in one of three places: at the ice rink cheering on her son’s hockey team, on the stage acting, or in the Maintained by Mullen office, a NH small business she owns with her eldest son.

Matthew Perkins, MA

Communications Coordinator

Matt joined Aquifer in February 2021. As the Communications Coordinator, he is responsible for delivering relevant, engaging marketing content and events to our users and potential subscribers, with the goal of creating connections and deepening relationships with medical and health professions faculty and students. His background includes video and podcast production, audio engineering, and higher education. Before joining Aquifer, Matt was an instructor and program coordinator at the Nashville Film Institute. Previously, he was a Graduate Teaching Fellow at UCLA, as well as an adjunct professor of Communications at CSU-Dominguez Hills. He holds a B.A. in Communication Arts and French from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and an M.A. and C. Phil in Cinema and Media Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Originally from Hanover, NH, Matt lives in Nashville, TN, with his wife and two dogs. He enjoys kayaking, hiking, and traveling with his family. In his spare time, he is working on finishing his doctoral thesis, The Acquisition and Integration of Sound Labor During the Transition from Silent to Talking Films, 1925-1931. He is also a podcast producer and host, and the editor-in-chief of an online college football magazine.

Joseph Miller, Ph.D.

Curriculum Integration Specialist

Joe Miller joined Aquifer in November 2020.  Joe is responsible for designing tools and resources for educators and students to more effectively use Aquifer in the health professions education. Joe has spent most of the last two decades working in K-12 education supporting schools and teachers to improve outcomes and incubate innovative ideas.  

Joe earned a Ph.D. in anthropology from Southern Methodist University (2002) and taught graduate and undergraduate courses in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Colorado-Denver.  

Joe lives in New Hampshire with his wife, two children, and far too many pets.  In his free time, Joe is a volunteer fireman, avid runner, and obsessive about making the perfect pizza.

Chasity joined Aquifer in November of 2020.  She is responsible for customer onboarding and training as well as exam and results delivery. Her background is in customer support and software training.  She received her Bachelor’s degree at Wesleyan College. She lives in Athens, GA, and loves cooking, drawing, and literature.

Megan Hotaling, MA

Community Engagement & Events Manager

Megan joined Aquifer in November 2020.  She is responsible for delivering events, social media, and online engagement opportunities that connect the Aquifer community and drive optimal experiences with Aquifer tools. Previously, Megan spent over a decade working at a small private liberal arts institution in student engagement.  She has a background in higher education and student affairs, particularly in the area of event planning. Megan received a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut and a degree in English and Communication Students from SUNY Oneonta. Megan resides in New Hampshire.

Nicholas Sammartino

Digital Production Associate

Nick joined Aquifer in September 2020. As Production Associate for Internal Medicine, Diagnostic Excellence, and High Value Care, he will manage the editorial review cycle of all Internal Medicine, Diagnostic Excellence, and High Value Care cases. Working closely with the editorial boards, he will update, edit, and enhance online curricular content in Aqueduct, the teaching and learning platform.

Prior to joining Aquifer, Nick worked in administration for higher education at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and as an automotive technician prior to that. Nick is currently finishing his master’s degree at Dartmouth College, focusing his research on public health and drug policy reform. He also served as the lead digital editor for his program’s academic journal, where he participates in the academic peer review process, while also responsible for creating, managing, and publishing both the digital and print edition of the journal. As a musician and music enthusiast, Nick spends much of his free time playing, writing, and recording music, building HiFi and home theater systems, and listening to music. Residing in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, he also enjoys taking advantage of all the nearby trails in the Upper Valley, going for hikes and mountain biking as often as he can.

Karey Waters

Product Manager

Karey Waters joined Aquifer in November 2017. She manages all aspects of Aquifer’s strategic communications and marketing. Her role also includes gathering and analyzing user feedback to inform product development and messaging. Prior to joining Aquifer, Karey worked for 12 years in non-profit communications and event management. Her background includes website and graphic design, content development and writing, and marketing strategy. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Hampshire.

Karey lives in Vermont with her husband, daughter, horses, and german shepherds. She enjoys skiing, paddling, and exploring the outdoors with her family.

Xantippe VanArsdale, MLIS

Digital Production Associate

Xan joined Aquifer in May 2020, as Production Associate for Family Medicine and Geriatrics she will manage the editorial review cycle of all Family Medicine and Geriatrics cases. Working closely with the editorial boards, she will update, edit, and enhance online curricular content in Aqueduct, the teaching and learning platform.

Xan came to Aquifer with a background in Biochemistry, Accounting, Library and Information Science, and Data Analytics. She is currently pursuing a micro degree in Data Analytics from Udacity. She holds an MA in Library and Information Studies from SUNY Buffalo, an AAS in Accounting from SUNY Canton and a BA in Biochemistry from SUNY Potsdam.

She currently lives in Northern, New York, and is a writer and painter.

Priti Patil

Full Stack Mid Level Developer

Priti Patil joined Aquifer in December 2019 as a full stack developer. She contributes towards the development and maintenance of the Aqueduct teaching and learning platform. Prior to joining Aquifer, Priti worked as a Software Developer for 2 years.

She has a BTech in Computer Science and Technology from SNDT University in India.

She lives in Massachusetts and likes to read books and spend time with her family and friends.

Anthony Wilson, MFA

Manager, Assessment Operations

Anthony Wilson joined Aquifer in November 2019.  He is involved with all aspects of Aquifer’s assessment development and maintenance processes and projects. He also works on the conceptualization, development, and implementation of new online assessments. Previous to Aquifer, Anthony was a Test Development Manager for the American Nurses Credentialing Center, managing the administration of 19 separate nursing certifications.

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Journalism from the State University of New York at Cortland and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from American University. He and his wife, Jessica, live in New Hampshire, after living the better part of the past two decades in Washington, D.C.

Leah Romano

Relationship Manager for DO, PA, NP, Residency, Fellowship & International Programs

Leah joined Aquifer in September 2012.  In her role as Relationship Manager, she engages with current and potential subscribers from DO, PA, NP/DNP, residency, fellowship, and international programs. Leah provides customer support for existing programs and focuses on growing the Aquifer subscribership in new areas.

Leah has a background in education administration, international education, human resources, project management, and communications. Leah holds a MA in Theater Performance from the University of London- Goldsmiths College and a  BA in Journalism, from Ithaca College. 

She currently lives in Vermont and is very active in performing arts and local politics.

Jacqueline (Hembrook) Short, MA, MS, PhD

Academics & Sciences Manager

Jacqueline (Jackie) Short, joined Aquifer in August 2017.  Currently, she assists in the oversight of the Aquifer Sciences.  Her main role is as Project Manager for Aquifer Sciences; an initiative in collaboration with IAMSE to integrate basic sciences into the health care professional’s academic curriculum. 

She has a background in behavioral neuroscience and psychology, along with conducting empirical laboratory research during her studies – related to learning and memory systems and visual attention. Her research has been published in several scientific journals. She also has taught psychology courses (Introduction to Psychology, Statistics, Biopsychology) at the University of New Hampshire and Castleton College. 

Jackie received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Western New England University; a Masters of Arts in Psychology, Masters of Science in College Teaching and a PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience, all from the University of New Hampshire.  She then completed a six year postdoctoral fellowship at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in the Molecular and Systems Biology department (formally Physiology and Neurobiology).

She lives in New Hampshire with her husband, who actively serves in the Army National Guard, and two young sons who keep them both on their toes. She enjoys working on crossword puzzles, ice skating and taking walks with her family.

Amos Esty

Managing Editor

Amos joined Aquifer in 2019. As content production manager, he works closely with the course boards and production associates to ensure that all cases are up to date and regularly reviewed. He also works with colleagues on the curricular operations team and technology team on the development of digital tools to keep the review process running smoothly. His experience with content production includes everything from editing print magazines to leading the implementation of websites and SAAS platforms.

Bola Olonisakin, MSC

Quality Assurance Analyst

Bola joined Aquifer in January 2020.  She is responsible for testing and making sure quality assurance standards are upheld. She is a certified Quality Assurance professional with over 6+ years of progressive experience and a proven record of significant, successful contribution in quality management and software application assurance.

She started as a biochemist who converted into a software geek, received her Master’s degree in Applied Information Technology from Towson University. She lives in the state of Maryland with her family and loves to read, run, and travel around the world.

Will Moore

Production Associate for Aquifer Pediatrics, Radiology and Video Production Lead

Will joined Aquifer in August 2016.  As Production Associate for the Pediatrics and Radiology course boards, Will manages the editorial review cycles, working closely with the Aquifer Educators Consortium to update, edit, and enhance online curricular content in the Aqueduct teaching and learning platform. He also produces instructional and promotional video content for Aquifer’s website.

Prior to joining Aquifer, Will worked in video production, academic publishing, and higher education admissions. He holds a BA in Communications from Marywood University and is currently working toward an MA in Environmental Studies from Antioch University New England. Currently, Will lives in the woods of western New Hampshire and spends much of his free time hiking, biking, and camping.

Will Kent

Full Stack Developer

Will joined Aquifer in April 2017.  He primarily works on building new features for Aquifer’s teaching and learning platform.  He also does maintenance and bug fixes for the codebase. Will received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northeastern University in 2013 and went back to school for programming and computer science in 2015. He lives on a farm in northern Vermont with his wife.

Cate Hancock

Relationship Manager for US Allopathic Medical Schools

Cate joined Aquifer in April 2015.  She is responsible for working to further Aquifer’s strategic goals through relationship development, with a particular focus on engaging directly with existing and potential subscribers in Aquifer’s primary market: US Allopathic Medical Schools.  She is actively involved in Aquifer’s organization-wide Administrative Optimization initiatives, contributes to our Voice of the Customer team, and supports the Aquifer Educators Consortium Teaching and Learning Group.

A Philadelphia native, for eight years Cate served as Foundation and Corporate Relations Manager for Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania, and has held similar development positions with the District of Columbia Coalition Against Domestic Violence, CHOICE, and the Sexual Minority Youth Assistance League. Cate is a graduate of Bryn Mawr, with an AB in Philosophy magna cum laude. She lives in Lebanon, NH, is a diehard Phillies and Flyers fan, and enjoys fantasy baseball, movies, reading, and vacationing in Maine.

Shawn Griffin, MBA, PMP

Manager, Software Development

Shawn joined Aquifer in August of 2018.  His primary focus is the planning, budgeting, and deliveries of projects within Aqueduct.  Shawn comes to Aquifer after spending 14 years at TomTom, a global leader in location technology and consumer electronics.  His educational background includes a BA from the University of Vermont, MBA from Franklin Pierce University and a Project Management Certificate (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.  Shawn lives across the river in Vermont and spends his free time, hiking, biking, and snowboarding the trails of the Green Mountain State.

Keith Brady

Platform Operations Administrator

Keith Brady joined Aquifer in January 2017. Keith provides support to our clients as well as maintaining our cloud and locally based networks, computers, and operations. He is also part of our Development and Security Operations teams providing solutions to our various platforms. 

Keith started working in Information Technology during the early 2000s providing local support for hardware and software-based solutions, working his way up to System Administrative and Development Operations roles. He has provided support at many non-profit education and science-based institutions. 

He lives in New Hampshire with his wife and two beautiful boys. Keith enjoys tinkering with electronics, ham radio, and keeping up with the latest tech trends.

Mary Albert

Staff Accountant

Mary joined Aquifer in May 2014 as an independent contractor.  She became an Aquifer employee in July 2016. Mary manages day to day accounting functions which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, subscription invoicing, account reconciliations, monthly closing, and reports. She came to Aquifer with more than twenty years of accounting experience.  She worked in corporate, public accounting, and nonprofit accounting.   

Mary received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Castleton University in 1989. She lives in Vermont with her husband and rescue dog.  She enjoys hiking and being outdoors. She is an avid hockey fan and roots for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Rosemarie Atwood

Consortium Operations Manager

Rosemarie joined Aquifer in March 2016.  As Consortium Operations Manager, she supports the Aquifer Academic Consortium, including Academic Strategic Council, Academic Council, Course Boards, and project teams.  Rosemarie is the single point of contact for the Consortium, working collaboratively to engage and support educators to ensure an efficient and satisfying experience.  Rosemarie came to Aquifer with a decade of experience in working for the non-profit arena. She also has a background in sales, marketing, and conference management. 

Rosemarie graduated with a BS in Business Administration in 2015.  She recently moved back to her beloved state of Vermont with her husband Harry, where they grew up.  Rosemarie loves all things outdoors, cooking, reading, music, dancing, volunteering at the local long term care center, organizing fundraisers, and her pets: Missy, Batman, and Belle.

Nat Pierson

Director of Platform Operations

Nat has been the Information Technology Lead since 2014, is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions at Aquifer. This includes directing all IT operations, as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications, and development of new technical solutions. Nat graduated from Wesleyan University and completed post-graduate work in film at New York University.
